What I am learning

To help an autoimmune condition we could
1. reduce inflammation - this would really help conditions of chronic systemic inflammation such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjogren's Syndrome and Fibromyalgia
2. provide body with good nutrition
3. reduce stress - which would include proper rest
4. try and turn off the attack

As you can see I am not a doctor and I am just beginning to try and work this all out.
There are so many autoimmune conditions. What they have in common is that they attack some part of the human body and that this attack is misdirected, mistaken, incorrect. Every autoimmune condition seems to have a different attack site e.g. in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura it is the platelets in the blood, in Pemphigus it is the skin, in Addison's it is the adrenal gland cells.
